Tottenham were outstanding during the 1960-61 season, with Jimmy Greaves ending the season as top goal scorer, Spurs won the league and the FA Cup. They comfortably beat Leicester City in the FA Cup final and had won the elusive double. The following season saw Spurs finish off in third position, however they once again reached the FA Cup final, they beat Burnley 3-1 in the final, which in turn won them the FA Cup. However the following season Burnely got revenge as they beat Spurs in the third round of the FA Cup to knock them out.
