Jermain Defoe
After spending 4 emphatic seasons playing for West ham, Defoe moved to Tottenham for £7 million and the English striker became an immediate success at White Hart lane. Despite Defoe missing the majority of the 2004/05 season with injury, he still managed to score an astonishing 22 goals during the 2004-05 campaign, with thirteen of them coming in the premiership. Defoe was outstanding once again for Spurs during the 2005-06 season despite having to fight for a place up front with Robbie Keane and Mido.
Jamie Redknapp
Redknapp made his first appearance for Liverpool during the 2002/03 season and was a success ever since in football. He was one of their star players during the 90’s however injury halted him from progression in the England set up on many occasions. He enjoyed success with Liverpool winning the UEFA Cup, FA Cup and league cup. After a heroic long spell playing for the Reds, Redknapp moved to Spurs on a free transfer in 2002. He spent two and a half years there and soon became a favorite with the fans. He was captain of the club for nearly two years, he then moved on to join his father, Harry Redknapp, at Southampton.
